One of the largest annual technology conventions in the world, GITEX is expected to attract more than 130,000 visitors from 61 countries.
Laserfiche will exhibit with BMB Group, a longtime Laserfiche distributor based in Beirut. BMB has deployed directly and through their Laserfiche resellers in the region, enterprise-level Laserfiche solutions in the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Central Bank of Lebanon, Standard Chartered Bank, National Bank of Kuwait, American University of Beirut, General Organization for Social Security (GOSI - KSA), Saudi Oger, Ras El Khaimah Electronic Government Authority, Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA), Gulf Cable Kuwait, Duravit and Egyptian Gulf Bank, among many others.
'The Middle Eastern market is exploding, especially in sectors such as construction, financial services, and government operations,' said Nizar Ghannam, regional manager of BMB's document management division. 'Laserfiche's presence at GITEX demonstrates its ongoing commitment to these fast-growing industries.'
Laserfiche and BMB representatives will showcase Laserfiche 7.2.1, the latest version of the software released earlier this month.
'Laserfiche prides itself on constantly adapting to the specific needs of our Middle Eastern clients,' said Delaure Hage, Middle East regional manager at Laserfiche. 'Our first-rate reseller channel knows that these clients do business in extremely competitive industries, and goes above and beyond to provide them with comprehensive support services.'
Laserfiche is fully supported in English, Arabic, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Korean versions. Among the most anticipated new features in Laserfiche 7.2.1 is 'Check In/Check Out.' This collaboration feature allows multiple users to modify documents and track changes made by multiple users with the safety of keeping documents from being overwritten. More than simple version control, Check In/Check Out ensures absolute security of dynamic documents before being saved as permanent.
Other upgrades in Laserfiche 7.2.1 include drag/drop compatibility with Microsoft Outlook, search enhancements and greatly expanded document auto-naming capabilities.
Laserfiche was recently certified for use on the United States Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), and was recertified by the United States Department of Defense as DoD 5015.2 compliant.
Laserfiche and BMB representatives will be available for interviews at Booth 901, Sh. Rashid Hall throughout the duration of the GITEX show.
