Denton Wilde Sapte has made an external Senior Counsel (partner equivalent) hire to add to the growth of its Gulf network.

His appointment comes a week after the firm announced 63% growth in half-year revenue across its Gulf network and follows the promotion of two Senior Counsel in its Muscat office in April 2006.

"The past year has seen a number of new firms enter the Dubai market, but our financial performance and investment in partners show that we are continuing to build on our market leadership position across the Middle East," says Gulf Managing Partner Neil Cuthbert."

Denton Wilde Sapte is the largest law firm in the Middle East, with over 80 Arabic and international lawyers and a regional network spanning Dubai, Dubai Internet City, Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Cairo. The firm's presence in the region dates back to 1964.
