Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, the ASF connects global and regional decision-makers for a strategic purpose—to engage in a hands-on, comprehensive programme along four critical tracks: CEO Agenda, Socio-Economic, Governance and Arab Society.

H.E. Dr. Ahmed Nazif, who assumed office in 2004, hailed a champion of the private sector and a reformist will share his thoughts at the three-day conference.

Along with a dynamic Cabinet of Ministers, Egypt has introduced sweeping reforms aimed at invigorating the Egyptian economy and boosting investment. With record level GDP and FDI, Egypt is building a promising story. Dr. Nazif was instrumental in pushing for reforms that were implemented in 2005. His approach to the country's agenda is regarded a model by other Arab countries.

Commenting on his participation, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Nazif said: "It is a pleasure to be involved with the Arab Strategy Forum, an ideal platform that encourages discussion on critical issues confronting the Arab World. The ASF will not only enrich the region's knowledge base, but also play a pivotal role in fostering change within the region."

Nabil Al Yousuf, Vice-Chairman, ASF Organising Committee, said: "The confirmation of H.E. Dr. Ahmed Nazif, an expert speaker and a reputed figure championing the private sector's role in Egypt, reflects the strong line-up of prominent personalities who will share ideas on how the Arab World can gain a global competitive edge.

"The participation of such dynamic leaders and decision makers has enhanced the value of the ASF as a dynamic platform for encouraging change and innovation within the region."

With the participation of leaders such as H.E. Dr. Nazif, the ASF has consolidated its positions as the leading Arab platform for strategic thinking and the main launch pad for regional programmes and initiatives. The fourth edition this year will bring together over 600 global leaders to discuss key issues impacting the Arab world.

Developed under the theme, 'Creating Opportunity from Change', this year's sessions at the ASF will be underpinned by bespoke knowledge and research on the Arab world.

The three-day programme will feature Arab and international heads of State and Government, along with business leaders, to create an interactive environment for the development of the Arab world.
