Lufthansa Airlines and Ocean World Productions set off to discover wild life in Arabia

Lufthansa teamed up with Ocean World Productions for a 14 week 'Cycle of Life' expedition, to discover the wild life of Arabia.
Mr. Uwe Wriedt, General Manager, Passenger Sales UAE & Director Gulf, Iran and Pakistan said, "It is an honor for Lufthansa to be a part of the 'Cycle of Life' expedition. This is part of our global environmental program and together with Ocean World Productions, we aim to resolve various environmental issues and maintain our commitment and relationship within this region. At Lufthansa, we believe that in order to protect the environment, we must first understand it. Thus, the airline meets not only its economic obligations but also its environmental and social responsibilities to secure long-term growth ".
Jonathan Ali Khan, producer, director, cameraman, CEO, said, "The experience is an exciting challenge for the team. Ocean World Productions has previously worked on other environmental care projects and is happy to seek the support of partners such as Lufthansa for the 'Cycle of Life' expedition".
He further commented, "The 11 team members are stationed in Oman at the moment and later will proceed to the U.A.E and onwards to K.S.A and Jordan as well. They are equipped with custom-built 4x4s from Jeep and the latest communication technology to facilitate their mission".
Mr. Uwe Wriedt concluded, "The airline assumes responsibility for nature and supports the international work of German environmental organizations. At Lufthansa, we are committed to promoting awareness and resolving environmental issues. As a result of this commitment, in the worldwide benchmarking of all listed airlines, the German carrier once again, reserved the top position in the 'Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI)' for 2002".
