Fujitsu Siemens Computers' ESPRIMO Q5000 Mini PC puts spotlight on design
- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, November 18 - 2006 at 16:09
- PRESS RELEASE
Leading European IT vendor Fujitsu Siemens Computers has unveiled its new ESPRIMO Q5000 Mini PC, its latest model for stylish desktops that combines lightweight elegance with intelligent technology.
"Fujitsu Siemens Computers recognises the importance of design-focused development as an important factor for regional companies such as law firms, travel agencies, architects' offices, and organisations with high-profile premises, such as the fashion industry, banks and insurance companies," said Stephane Rejasse, Managing Director, Middle East, Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
"These businesses can benefit from compact and elegantly designed IT equipment that reflects their corporate identity. The ESPRIMO Q5000 provides best usability where space is a constraint."
The ESPRIMO Q5000, complete with high-class design and black finish, and dimensions measuring only 5 x 16.5 x 16.5 centimetres, will be available from this month. With a slot-in DVD drive integrated into the design, the Mini PC's Intel® Mobile Technology and sophisticated system design make it extremely quiet operationally and economical in power consumption.
Peter Esser, Executive Vice President Volume Products & Supply Operations at Fujitsu Siemens Computers, comments: "Customer surveys and trend analyses show that companies have very different requirements when it comes to office PCs: on the one hand, they want powerful and easily expandable PCs for their open-plan offices, while for their smaller and more intimate offices they are looking for high-quality design and elegance. At our customer-oriented production centre in Augsburg, we produce the right devices for all requirements."
Since both monitor and keyboard are key parts of the overall impression, Fujitsu Siemens Computers offers the ESPRIMO Q5000 together with the SCALEOVIEW S20 widescreen monitor and a fitting keyboard and mouse.
