Under the terms of the promotion, customers purchasing a TecraŽ A8 notebook PC during Gitex 2006 and DFS 2007 will be guaranteed their money back should they experience any technical issues covered by Toshiba international warranty within a year of purchase. Should this occur, customers will receive the repaired notebook as well as a full refund, provided that they have registered for the promotion within seven days of purchasing the machine.

"The Tecra A8 money-back promotion illustrates our complete confidence in the quality of our products. Our customers have, and always will be, a vital part of our business, and we are committed to providing them with the best possible service," commented Ahmed Khalil, General Manager, Toshiba Computer Systems Division, Middle East and Africa. "This promotion is the first of its kind in the region and we are confident that it will provide customer with piece of mind when buying one of our products."

The Tecra A8 was launched in the Middle East earlier this year, and has experienced huge success since then. Billed as one of the most resilient notebooks to enter the market, the new TecraŽ A8 has been designed and engineered for the small to medium business sector with the mobile professional in mind, and incorporates a host of enhanced security, protection and connectivity features at an entry-level price point.

The 15.4" wide-screen TecraŽ A8 features a professional, stylish new design that houses enhanced Toshiba EasyGuard Technologies including Shock Protection, a Spill-resistant keyboard, stronger LCD panel protection and display hinge, 3D Accelerometer and HDD Case Protection that safeguards against daily wear and tear by mobile professionals. The design also includes improvements for enhanced security, protection and connectivity features.

Toshiba will be present a Gitex in Hall 3, Stand Number B3 10. The Tecra A8 will be available for purchase at GITEX Shopper.
