At the show, Adobe is highlighting the unparalleled opportunities for PDF-based communication and collaboration, with a strong focus on Adobe® Acrobat® 8 Professional software. The software giant aims to outline product benefits to enable business professionals to reliably create, combine and control Adobe PDF documents for easy, more secure distribution and data collection.

"Through our participation at GITEX, we are reiterating our commitment to the Middle East market that will help us strengthen our position as the preferred regional vendor for developing applications which deliver proven business benefits," said Adobe's Regional Manager, Andrew Lindström.

Adobe's GITEX participation is strengthened by the presence of its top global product experts and evangelists demonstrating the benefits of its latest product suite to regional customers, as part of it's recently announced expansion plans for the Middle East and Africa region.

"GITEX will drive Adobe's ambitious expansion plans for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region by creating new business links with regional partners for marketing our expanding product line," said Jacob Alex, Middle East Channel Manager, Adobe.

"With the Macromedia acquisition, our product portfolio has been further enhanced, and we are exhibiting this range under the Adobe umbrella," said Giuseppe Verrini, Managing Director, Southern Europe, Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa. "For the first time we will be presenting Flash technology and have officially launched the new Acrobat 8 in the Middle East, along with the localised version of Creative Suite 2 - now a standard in the design and graphics industry."

Adobe is also hosting specialised workshops for its training partners to provide a hands-on experience to its regional customers.
