Launched in May 2003, wholly-owned by the UAE government and headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Royal Jet is an international luxury executive flight services company. Royal Jet serves the needs of VIP customers wishing to charter luxurious aircraft for private business, leisure or official governmental flights.

Royal Jet flights meet the demands of VVIP/VIP clients, businessmen and families who require privacy and services of the highest standard. Royal Jet flies clients to their chosen destinations, at their preferred time and on their preferred schedule. In-flight food is prepared in accordance with clients' requests. Royal Jet aircraft can be reconfigured to suit clients' needs within two and a half hours of confirming availability. The aircraft will then be ready for take-off to the client's selected destination.

Royal Jet also operates Royal Med, its air ambulance division, which operates with state-of-the-art medical equipment and its own, full-time Aero Medical team of highly qualified physicians and nurses. Royal Jet also offers consultancy services through its aircraft management and acquisition division for private jet owners. Another division is the Royal Jet Fixed Base Operations/VIP terminal where a full range of maintenance, ground handling and crew and catering services are provided for all executive flights arriving or departing Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Royal Jet is a founder member of the recently-formed Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA), set up to promote the interests of the regional industry. The Association evolved from the inaugural Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) conference held in 2005, which was hosted by Royal Jet and staged with the patronage of its Chairman, His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE's Minister for Public Works and Housing.

Royal Jet is also a member of the NBAA, MEBAA, AVITAT, MedLink (a service of MedAir Inc.) and the Flight Safety Foundation.
