CompuMe and i2 unveil the MIO A700 during GITEX Shoppers

This year i2 and CompuMe partner at GITEX Shoppers offering technology lovers two shopping stations and an impressive list of gifts for lucky shoppers.

CompuMe and i2 launched the MIO A700 for the first time in the region during Gitex. The new hand held device is a GPS PDA phone with a built-in navigation system. The MIO A700 comes in either black or white, targeting frequent business travelers who prefer to carry one device for all their mobile needs.

The MIO is a convenient mobile phone equipped with Windows Mobile 5.0 for office functions, a navigation system for travel planning. In addition it has a 20-channel SiRF
starlll GPS receiver to ensure better reception in difficult terrain, as well as a faster search for satellites for instant navigation.

CompuMe offered shoppers that spent over AED 250 automatically awarded points on their airmile cards and placed in a draw to win one of five Chevrolet Aveo's, one of five LG LCD TV's, additional airmiles or a goodie bag worth AED 500. Those without cards were issued one on the spot and gained eligibility for the draw.
