The second Ramadan International Products Fair 2002, an international consumer products fair, will bring together a variety of goods from the local market, the Middle East region, Europe, Africa and the Far East in halls one and two of Dubai World Trade Centre.
Offering great shopping opportunities under one roof, Ramadan International Products Fair 2002 will run throughout the Dubai City That Cares event, from 11th November to 4th December.
Commenting on MEDIAC's participation in Dubai City That Cares, Abdulrahman G Al Mutaiwee, Director General of DCCI, said: 'We're pleased that MEDIAC Communication and Promotion are to build on last year's success in 2002.
'The exhibition will include Dubai Charity Forum IV, and Mediac has assigned 22 stands for charity & nonprofit organizations, in addition to donating an amount of money by the end of the exhibition for charity purposes.'
He continues, 'Ramadan International Products Fair 2002 will be the perfect venue for wholesalers and retailers to promote new products and brands to large numbers of consumers, while at the same time contributing to the good causes associated with this year's Dubai City That Cares, namely the Red Crescent and UNICEF.'
'This year the selection of the vendors was more refined and widened to meet the consumers' expectation and demand,' said Mr. Abdullah Balhoul, General Manager, MEDIAC.
In 2001, more than 35,000 people visited Ramadan International Products Fair, and with a wide variety of consumer and luxury items on offer in 2002, DCCI is confident of attracting even greater numbers of caring consumers this year.
In addition to showcasing the world's best technology products, décor items, fashion goods and educational products, Ramadan International Products Fair 2002 will celebrate the culture, heritage and traditions of Dubai and the UAE with live shows and entertainment, all taking place on an area of 5000 square metres.
Mr. Al Mutaiwee said, 'During the Holy Month of Ramadan, Dubai City That Cares is a time for people of all nationalities to come together and celebrate the best our community has to offer while remembering those less fortunate than ourselves.
'In organizing Ramadan International Products Fair 2002, MEDIAC Communication and Promotion will be creating a superb venue for consumers to do just that.'
Dubai the City that Cares 2002 will take place from 2nd November until 12th December.
