A list of the Worlds best Internet Banks will be published in the September 2002 issue.
Winners were chosen from entries reviewed by a world-class judging panel consisting of senior representatives from Deloitte and Touche, IBM Global Services, KPMG Consulting, Logica, MeriianGS and Tata Infotech. Global Finance editors made the final selections of winners globally and for six regions (27 countries) and 10 functional categories. Winning banks were selected based on specific criteria that included strength of strategy for attracting and servicing online customers, web offerings, growth in online customer base, breadth of product offering, tangible benefits and website design functionality.
