To be held on November 22nd in Doha, Qatar, November 27th, in Kuwait City, Kuwait, November 28th in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain and November 29th in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman; followed by sessions on December 5th and 6th in Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, respectively.

The event will provide postgraduate students with the chance to meet and discuss with administrators the opportunities being offered at the new Dubai-based university.

Set-up to support the increasing demand for a highly-educated and skilled aviation workforce for the rapidly expanding Middle East, China and India markets, DAE University provides an entry point to exciting new career opportunities for young people in these regions.

To maintain this rapid rate of growth a highly-specialised and thought-leading workforce is required - from technicians and pilots to supervisors and middle managers, as well as CEOs and Board members of airlines, airports, Maintenance Repair and Operations (MROs), and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

DAE University will be a critical institution in sustaining this growth and activity for the region by providing world-class technical, business and management education and training programmes for professionals in aerospace.

Dr George H. Ebbs, CEO of DAE University, said: "It is our mission to champion the development of those who will be integral to the region's aerospace industry of tomorrow. To do this, we aim to attract students of the highest calibre. These open days provide potential applicants with the opportunity to gain a first hand perspective of the institution's curriculum and an understanding of what we are trying to achieve."

The University, which opened its doors last month (October), is the first of its kind in the Middle East region to offer Masters and Doctoral programmes in aerospace-focused business and engineering, through its partnership agreement with the world-renowned Cranfield University.

The initial curriculum consists of four courses leading to MSc degrees in:
Aerospace Vehicle Design
Airport Planning & Management
Air Transport Management
Logistics & Supply Chain Management

These programmes will stretch over one-year full-time and two-to-five year part-time periods.

With an impressive range of studies, DAE University's emphasis lies in four distinct areas: vocational, flight academy, higher degree programmes and research foundations, as well as a Research Park. As part of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, students also have the unique opportunity of intern placements and employment in the other five divisions of the organisation - DAE Airports, DAE Engineering, DAE Manufacturing, DAE Services and DAE Capital.

The aerospace sector is one of the most dynamic industries in the world today. The skills gained on these courses at DAE University will empower students, enabling them to further their careers at aerospace companies across the globe.
