India and Italy to exhibit strongly in Al Fares Dubai 2006

India and Italy are sending their biggest equine industry delegations ever to travel to the Middle East to exhibit in Al Fares Dubai 2006, the sixth International Equine Trade Fair which will be held in Dubai from December 11 to 13 2006.

The Indian delegation is lead by the Indian Council for Leather Exports (CLE), the organization entrusted with export promotion activities and the overall development of the Indian leather industry. The Indian group comprise 10 companies which will exhibit saddlery, harness, equestrian equipment and apparel.

'The council's growing interest in Al Fares over the years has also earned them recognition within the regional equine industry. We will be keen to see them renew and develop new industry contacts during the event that will further strengthen their position regionally,' said Satish Khanna, General Manager of Al Fajer Information & Services, organisers of the event.

'The Indian Council of Leather Exports will be showcasing high quality equestrian leather products that have gone through stringent quality controls and are a product of modern research and development,' said Ms. Indira Mishra, Regional Director, Council of Leather Exports and leader of the delegation. 'The equestrian market has become more conscious of aesthetics in recent years and our council members deliver both style and quality. We invite industry players come and visit the Indian Pavilion at Al Fares Dubai 2006,' she concluded.

The Indian delegation will include Cloud Exports (P) Ltd., Council for Leather Exports, Excel Impex, G.B. Exports, Kings International, Miller Exports, Paradise Noble Creations, Prime International, Raj Exports, Unicorn Saddlery and Yamuna International.

The Italian group comprises 12 companies which will occupy 144 sqm and includes major global players like Guidolin Gianna, Instituto Candioli SPA, Prestige Italia and Sarm Hippique. This is the biggest participation from Italy in the history of Al Fares Dubai. The Italian group will be displaying world class equestrian products that are a result of unique Italian design talents and famous Italian craftmanship. 'We have been interested in this market for some time now. Unfortunately, the first time we exhibited in Al Fares Dubai, our saddles did not fetch up in time. This is why we were the first to register this time and hope that our world class saddles will be appreciated by a discerning audience,' said Mr. Massimo Bertola, Export Manager of Prestige Italia, whose saddles are used by some of the most accomplished and famous riders of the world.

As newcomers and previous participants look to leverage the equine business platform by gaining new business leads, international trading companies and organizations from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, South Africa, India and Australia have emphatically expressed their support to and endorsement of Al Fares Dubai 2006 which will retain its status as the number one exhibition for horse products and services in Asia and Africa.
