This is the first Buffalo product to come equipped with a single SATA drive and feature both FireWire and USB 2.0 interfaces, ensuring high-speed data transfer to and from digital devices for home and small business users.
Gerardine Lynch, Product Marketing Manager, said 'The DriveStation line of storage devices can be used as backup drives to Buffalo's Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices, including the LinkStation Home Server, LinkStation Pro, TeraStation Home Server and TeraStation Pro.'
