UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports Dubai 2003

A UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs delegation met with Ibrahim Belselah, General Coordinator of Dubai 2003 to discuss the preparations towards the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund being held in Dubai in September 2003 and the role of the diplomatic missions in this regard.

Mr. Ibrahim Belselah said, "We are grateful for the co-operation and support extended to us by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Dubai 2003 will enhance the leadership position that UAE enjoys as a financial, business and tourism hub on the world map. The diplomatic missions have a very important role in conveying the magnitude and impact of this event to the world at large."

Belselah received the members of the delegation, which included His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Hajree, Deputy Director of Economic Affairs and International Co-operation, Mr. Yousif Mohammed Al Madfai, Minister Incharge of Protocol Department, Mr. Hassan Eisa Mahmoud Al Husni, Consultant at the Consular Affairs, Mr. Tariq Mohammed Al Zuabi, 3rd Secretary of the Economic Affairs and International Co-operation.
