NTDE's Dotcom Systems launches three variations of Planet's Wireless MESH and WLS-1280 at GITEX 06

Dotcom the sole distributor of Planet Technology and Full Enterprises network components in the Middle East, participated at GITEX for the fifth consecutive year.

Reza Motamedi, Dotcom Systems, said, "This year we have added four new Planet products at GITEX. We have also introduced corporate clients to a new range of enterprise solutions. Most of the earlier versions of products we had on offer have been well received by companies in the Gulf and some African countries."

Dotcom Systems demonstrated new wireless platforms at the regions leading IT exhibition. The MESH acts as a wireless co-operative communication infrastructure between a massive amount of individual wireless transceivers. The three models introduced at GITEX are the MAP-2000 a wireless outdoor solution, the MAP -2100 an outdoor wireless solution and the MAP-2105 an IP roaming gateway.

The Wireless LAN Switch WLS-1280, enables administrators to manage different categories of users based on self-defined policies. This simplified deployment eases the integration into existing wired and wireless networks. The revolutionary solution also supports 12 access points and allows upto 200 concurrent users. Five other active and passive network component products were also displayed at the Dotcom stand.

The three models of the Wireless MESH and the WLS-1280 are available through Dotcom Systems, who provide installation support. Each unit has a one-year warranty, with Planet providing after sales service for the warranty period.
