The Emirates Aviation College (Aerospace & Academic studies) continues to be the UAE's centre for the UK's BTEC qualifications, with the renewal of its certificate as 'Approved Centre'.
The Emirates Aviation College is audited twice a year by the foundation which renews the Approved Centre certificate biennially.
Mohammed Al Budoor, Principal of the Aerospace & Academic studies wing of the college, said: "The certificate for Approved Centre is the benchmark for excellence in vocational education internationally.
"We have been associated with the Edexcel Foundation since 1991 and our partnership has grown strong. We are, therfore, very pleased that our cerificate has been renewed. This reaffirms to us that the standard of education at the Emirates Aviation College continues to be of the highest order."
The college's Engineering and Business Management programmes, which runs from National certificates to Higher National Diplomas, follow the BTEC curricula.
"The college is one of our oldest centres worldwide and we are delighted to be now partnered with Emirates which is well-known for excellence," said Ian Reed, Managing Director of Edexcel International. "This excellence is reflected in the quality of the college's programmes and the standard of the results by students, and we look forward to continuing this very fruitful partnership."
