"Through GFI MailArchiver 3.0 with Arabic End-User Interface, organizations can now reduce the number of costly, specialized support staff required to manage archived emails, thereby significantly reducing operating costs," explained David Vella, Product Manager for GFI MailArchiver.
"By automatically configuring new databases to store old emails, organizations can eliminate large, unstable databases that require frequent maintenance. Administrators are able conduct simultaneous searches for archived emails in multiple databases, thereby allowing them to find archived emails more quickly. And now, through this new product upgrade, they can do so in Arabic."
PST files are a recurring problem for administrators when it comes to backup as they represent small islands of information spread across the entire network, each of which needs to be backed up separately. GFI MailArchiver with the Arabic Interface enables you to eliminate PST file dependency and centralize backups into one location on MS SQL Server, and yet allows all archived emails to be fully accessible to users.
A world-leading provider of network security, content security and messaging software, GFI has a strategic partnership with Microsoft - it is a Gold Certified Partner and a member of various limited access Microsoft groups such as the Exchange Server JDP program. Microsoft has presented GFI with the Winning on Windows Award as well as the Microsoft Fusion award.
Across the GCC expanding businesses have been grappling with the problem of archiving vital email traffic in a way that can be easily retrieved. "We are handling thousands of email communications on a daily basis," said Talal Thabet, Regional Director of BEI Group, "many of which track the progress of various activities within our organization, many of which are in Arabic. Filing and cataloguing these critical exchanges is becoming an enormous challenge as our email traffic increases. I am increasingly required to retrieve an email exchange at a moment's notice to reinforce an argument or disprove a claim. There are severe financial, contractual and legal implications to misplaced emails," he said. "An Arabic-enabled archiving system is long overdue."
OneClick Restore to retrieve emails
GFI MailArchiver 3.0 is more user-friendly as it is now possible for the administrator and users to restore any archived email, even deleted email, by a simple one-click process through the OneClick Restore facility. This feature allows the email message to be restored as it was at the time of deletion, and is re-sent to the user as an attachment in an email.
Access all emails from any location
End-users are now able to access all their archived emails using a web browser, rather then only having access to emails stored on an Exchange Server.
Enhanced email searches
GFI MailArchiver 3.0 with Arabic Interface features Active Directory Group Based Security - Access Control, allowing end users such as department heads to retrieve all emails of people in their department. This feature allows minimal intervention from the IT Department, whilst providing pre-specified end-users with more autonomy.
