This ceremony was held on November the 20, 2006, at Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai.

The Cambridge Diplomas offered by Knowledge Horizon are designed for working professionals who have the inclination to study but whose time is hampered by busy schedules. These students are unable to travel to the UK for the Graduation Ceremony, and are therefore quite enthusiastic about receiving their International Diplomas at the Dubai event.

'This kind of diploma highlights the value of knowledge transfer and education for the benefit of the Arab Economy,' said the Managing Director of Knowledge Horizon Dr. Maen Al Qatamin. 'On the other side this ceremony signifies the diligent work of Knowledge Horizon's crew professors and trainers as well as the dedication of the students.'

'Our students are exposed to the realities of management through guest speakers, case studies, educational videos and other real life opportunities,' he added.

The Professional Qualifications department at Knowledge Horizon is uniquely designed to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary to make and implement professional decisions in the changing world.

'We are delighted that Cambridge Examinations, in particular the Cambridge International Diplomas, are spreading in the United Arab Emirates with the dedicated work of Knowledge Horizon's president, Dr. Al Qatamin and his staff,' said Ms. Chris Daw, the regional manager for University of Cambridge International Examinations.

On Behalf of the graduates Ms Sawsan Hamo Employer Relations Coordinator, Higher College of Technology, Sharjah Women's College said, 'The management and staff of Knowledge Horizon have made my dream come true. They counseled and motivated me, challenged my abilities, provided me with the necessary support, be it tangible or moral and they are still behind me, offering me a generous scholarship to finish my masters degree in the UK. Now, after being hesitant to start my masters I am thinking of pursuing a PhD.'

Mr. Nader Sabry, Department of Economic Development, Government of Dubai also on behalf of the students, added, 'Tonight is a celebration of the pursuit of knowledge not just for me but for other graduates here this evening who have persevered in hopes of eventually crossing this stage and here we are.'
