Her Highness Sayyida Alyia bint Thuwaini Al-Sa'id visits Nattiq Technologies

The visit is a part of the continuous cooperation between Nattiq Technologies, based in Sharjah - UAE and Alnoor Association for the Blind in Muscat - Sultanate of Oman.

Both Nattiq and Alnoor implemented several successful project in the Sultanate of Oman during the last three years which resulted in training a large number of blind Omanies on the latest information and communication technologies.

Mrs. Barka Albakri, Vice President of Alnoor Association for the Blind - Oman, will accompany her Highness during her visit to Nattiq Technologies. Several Ministries in Oman launched an initiative to equip blind employees with a lap top and a Hal screen reader from Nattiq Technologies as well as a week of extensive training at Nattiq's facilities in Sharja.

Her Highness is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of Alnoor Association for the Blind with Nattiq Technologies. Nattiq remains committed to providing Oman's blind men and women with privacy and independence in using information and communication technologies. There are over 14000 blind citizens in Oman who are eager to cope with their blindness through modern adaptive tools and technologies. Her Highness will examine such tools during her expected visit.
