Mr. Gates handed over the Certificate of Excellence to Mr. Basel Al Jabr, Interactive's President, during the first annual Global Conference on Competitiveness held in Riyadh recently.

'We are proud to personally be recognized by Mr. Gates for the company's outstanding performance. This achievement is a result of developing high end portals for government organizations and private companies,' said Mr. Al Jabr.

'The recognition shows Microsoft's commitments and appreciation to partners. We are proud of being part of the Microsoft partners group.'

During the conference, Mr. Gates said that Microsoft is working with the Saudi Government on adapting new technologies that would result in successful eGovernment initiatives. He also added that his company recognizes the valuable investment opportunities in IT market and will help its partners in their IT strategies.
