The magazine will launch in early 2007. Arguably one of the world's most important style magazines, Harper's BAZAAR has been leading the way in fashion, style and beauty since it first launched in America in 1867.

'The Middle East's influence in the world of fashion, style and glamour is growing, with Arab designers hitting the world stage and Middle Eastern designs and forms increasingly influencing international designers. With the growth of the region's fashion industry and the entry of many of the world's leading fashion and style brands into the region, there was an urgent need for a magazine that would speak for the region's fashion leaders. And now it's here,' commented Walid Akawi, CEO of ITP.

Harper's BAZAAR, renowned for its bold design, provocative photography and cutting-edge visual agenda, has long been a home to extraordinary talents, including legendary editors such as Diana Vreeland, Carmel Snow as well as photographic geniuses like Man Ray, Peter Lindbergh and Sølve Sundsbø. Guided by editor Glenda Bailey and art director Stephen Gan, Harper's BAZAAR today continues to set the agenda for cutting edge fashion, design and art.

'We're delighted to be working with Hearst to bring Harper's BAZAAR to the region. This move is as much a testament to the importance of the Middle East's fashion and glamour industry as it is to the high confidence that Hearst has shown in ITP's production values and quality,' said Akawi.
