The prestigious award aims at setting standards in the recognition of excellence in brand communications, and it differs significantly from traditional awards schemes, both in scope and in spirit.

The telecommunications category in the coveted awards saw entries from several leading global brands. However etisalat has successfully demonstrated how it could uniquely develop the new branding strategy and launch it with integrated brand communications campaign in a variety of communication platforms.

etisalat's new brand logo, based on the theme 'Reach', has heralded the first major overhaul in etisalat's 30-year history, and was part of its new consumer-centric identity, strategy and outlook aimed at carrying the Corporation into the new millennium.

etisalat vision of the new brand identity is a world where people's reach is not limited by matter or distance. etisalat extends people's reach by providing the service and technologies that enable individuals and businesses around the world to extend themselves so they can reach each other, their aspirations, ambitions and the best the world has to offer.

The new identity reflects etisalat's values of transparency, optimism, openness, simplicity, empowerment, and caring. The green colour in the logo signifies life, growth and renewal. Green is the national colour of the UAE, and Etisalat has a long and close association with its home nation- the UAE.
