BDO Jawad Habib takes a bow at BDO Biennial Conference 2006

BDO Jawad Habib Bahrain and its regional offices in Qatar and Oman were ranked among BDO International's top member firms at the BDO Biennial Conference 2006 held in Cape Town, South Africa.
BDO Jawad Habib Senior Partner Jawad Habib expressed his pride on receiving this recognition. "I am proud that our performance and hard work has been recognised by BDO International. Our qualified team work diligently to deliver international standards. We constantly aim to provide a high standard of professional competence and service to our clients and to do our part to strengthen the BDO brand in our region."
More than 600 top representatives from BDO member firms attended BDO Bienniel Conference 2006 held in November. "The event was a great experience, it allowed us to strengthen our relationships with other BDO offices worldwide where we can exchange and learn about new ways we can improve our services here in the Gulf region," said partner Abbas Radhi.
"Being one of the top performing member firms of BDO International is a major honour which we hope to build on in the future," he added.
Highlights from the event included an address by former South African President FW de Klerk and a performance from storyteller Gcina Mholphe-Becker, who sang a welcome to the participants.
"We at BDO value our capable, credible and enthusiastic workforce and must go on providing the incentives necessary to allow us to continue attracting the best the industry has to offer," said BDO International CEO Frans Samyn.
"The future looks bright with many great opportunities ahead. We must strive to seize each and every one of them," he added.
The conference also included a screening of the history of BDO, a workshop on the newly launched initiative BDO ICE (International Client Experience), an overview of future plans, including a planned expansion of activities in China and the BDO Awards ceremony.
