Going east: Emirates Computers announces Pakistan expansion plans

Emirates Computers, Nokia's longest standing partner in the Middle East, has joined forces with Teletec, Nokia's exclusive partner in Pakistan to set-up 'Siyana Technologies', a Nokia Service factory in Lahore, Pakistan.

Commenting on the launch of the Pakistan operation, Mr. Hani Harik, President and CEO, Emirates Computers, said, "Since 1991, Emirates Computers has been supporting Nokia users in the UAE and, thanks to Nokia's support and extensive training, we have built one of the best technical and customer-oriented teams in the region. Our partnership with Teletec - Pakistan is a natural association as it brings together EC's service expertise and Teletec's reputed Nokia operation. With ISO 9001 certification and Nokia's diligent audit and quality control, I am confident that the new service operation in Pakistan will deliver the highest customer satisfaction level."

The advanced Level 3 repair factory will focus on providing better service to Nokia customers and effectively servicing warrantees. Emirates Computers and Teletec were selected as the winning bidder after a rigorous auditing and evaluation process by Nokia to ensure a high level of customer assistance. With experience in providing comprehensive Nokia customer services and support in the UAE, Emirates Computers will be responsible for managing the operation in Pakistan in partnership with Teletec.

In order to efficiently service the customers, a dedicated Nokia service center was the need of the hour.
