This decision was taken to satisfy the growing demand from public and private organizations to organize such programs in Abu Dhabi for their added convenience.

Candidates are short-listed through internal assessments and reviews before being allowed to take the computerized exams held in the computer laboratories of the Etisalat Academy. During the CAT programme, offered only at Etisalat Academy in the region, the courses studied include Financial Records and Administration, Data Analysis, Cost Accounting, Systems and Human Resources, which have all been set in accordance with international standards in Accounting. The programme is delivered by highly trained professionals certified by the International Professional Organization in the United Kingdom and United States of America, of which the Etisalat Academy is a special member
In a related development, the regional representatives of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants presented a certificate of appreciation to the Academy' after the announcement of the results of the ACCA and Certified Accountant Technician exams organized by the academy.
Steven Shields, Managing Director, Association of Certified Chartered Accountants Middle East region, and Deepak Shinani, Corporate Communications Manager ACCA Middle-East region, presented the certificate of appreciation to Dr. Doaa Fares, General Manager, Etisalat Academy in Abu Dhabi.
Shields complimented the Academy for the sophistication of its courses, and its efforts in encouraging trainees and preparing them to obtain the ACCA certificate. The certificate has become a crucial qualification in the European Union, for candidates to keep up with the latest technologies, financial reports and global market variables.
