This new CRM module allows for the Ministry of State for Administrative Development Call Center to receive, track and easily solve citizen's complaints, questions and suggestions regarding all types of services offered under the E-Government project.

Citizens now need only to call the short number 19468 or access the bilingual website (www.egypt.gov.eg) in order to submit their request, and through the automated workflow provided by the CRM module, they are immediately assigned a case number to track their inquiries. Citizens have access to that service at any time by giving in their case number to check on the status of their request.

This CRM module will also cater to all services provided and offered by the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Social Solidarity and other ministries in the future.

"LINK Development has been working closely with the Egyptian Government and with the Ministry of State for Administrative Development (MSAD) over the years on the different aspects of the e-Government project, and this most recent implementation of Microsoft CRM is just another testimony to the trust placed in our corporation," commented Hanan Abdel Meguid, CEO, LINK Development.

"LINKdotNET always had a vision set for a revolutionary contribution to the IT field whether in the area of governmental or community services", stated Karim Beshara, CEO, LINKdotNET.

"Egyptian companies have reached a very high technical level and are competing with Microsoft partners worldwide," commented Tamer Elhamy, Microsoft Business Solution Manager (MBS). "LINKdotNET is one of Microsoft's most prominent partners not only in the Egyptian market, but also in the Middle East, due to its vast experience in regional markets as well as having a highly qualified team."

"The confidence in LINKdotNET's capabilities, performance level and achievements are among the reasons behind choosing LINKdotNET to take over major projects in Egypt and the region; in addition to selecting it as a Gold Certified Partner that is always winning prestigious awards," he also added.

Engineer Sameh Bedair, Policy Making and Programming Sector Manager in the Ministry of State for Administrative Development, explained that the new engine reflects a real interest in making citizens' lives easier as per the clear instructions and personal supervision of Dr Ahmed Darwish, Minister of State for Administrative Development.

"Several ministries are able to facilitate the process of troubleshooting citizens' problems and equally, their own work pressures. We are currently in the process to deploy this service nationwide to all ministries by virtue of which the concept of government services will be totally upgraded," added Bedair.

"President Mubarak's election program includes the widening of the communication base between the government and the citizens to guarantee better services, promoting transparency, and interacting with them. This is what the project is truly focusing on, and what the ministry is setting the base for, implemented and designed by LINK Development," stated Dr. Ahmed Darwish, Minister of State for Administrative Development.
