Abu Dhabi open day to promote BUiD postgraduate education programmes

The British University in Dubai (BUiD) - the Middle East's first research-based university - is holding an Open Day in Abu Dhabi on Monday 4th December following strong interest from students in the Emirate for postgraduate study.
The Open Day, to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Abu Dhabi on Monday 4th December, will offer potential students the chance to sit with some of BUiD's expert staff to discuss how enrolling at the University can provide them with unique programmes that involve up to the minute research relevant to industry and education providing a major boost towards promising future career opportunities.
Prospective students wishing to study the MSc in Project Management will also have the opportunity to find out about classes BUiD expects to offer in Abu Dhabi from February 2007.
"At BUiD there are countless opportunities for students to further their aspirations and careers," said David Lock, Registrar and Acting Chief Executive of BUiD.
"To name just a few current examples, BUiD postgraduates can expect to be actively involved in industry-driven research teams looking to resolve real-world issues, while others could have the opportunity to attend and present their research papers at internationally recognised conferences. Whatever their areas of specialisation, BUiD students consistently do both themselves and the University proud," added Lock.
Prospective students who are unable to attend the Open Day in Abu Dhabi can also find out more about BUiD and the programmes it offers by visiting its Knowledge Village campus in Dubai between 09:00 and 17:00 Saturday to Thursday.
BUiD offers Masters Programmes and Continuing Professional Development courses in Information Technology, Project Management, IT Management, Banking and Finance, the Built Environment, and Education.
