EFG-Hermes to help educate investors at Borsa Step by Step

EFG-Hermes, the Arab world's premier investment bank, will participate at the "Borsa Step by Step" three day conference at the Cairo International Conference Centre, from 2-4 December 2006.

"The purpose of Step by Step is to educate investors on the fundamentals of how to invest in the Egyptian stock market, and therefore as Egypt's largest investment bank EFG-Hermes feels that it has a role to play in educating the public and therefore we should be participating in such an event," said Sherif Cararah, Managing Director of EFG-Hermes Securities Brokerage. "It will also certainly benefit those that are interested in subscribing to our Hermes Online service."

Ayman Waked, Chief technical analyst EFG-Hermes goes on to say that throughout the conference he will be providing sessions on the main elements of technical analysis, concentrating on market trends, support and resistance, and reversal patterns.

Abdel Moneim Omran, Vice President Asset Management EFG-Hermes, will also head a session entitled Mutual Funds are the Solution for Small Investors.

Throughout the three day conference, EFG-Hermes will also be demonstrating the online trading service and offering no minimum account limit to any customer who opens an account with them at the Borsa Step by Step.
