The event will also see special addresses given by top Iranian nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, and Egyptian Prime Minster, Ahmed Nazif.
HE Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, United Arab Emirates & Chairman, ASF Organising Committee, said: "The presence of illustrious heads of state and distinguished business leaders underscores the event as one of the region's major gathering points. Their participation will help formulate a powerful and structured framework for regional development, through the exploration of insightful perspectives that they will offer.
"Since its inception four years ago, the Arab Strategy Forum has continued to receive high media visibility, bringing the spotlight not just on Dubai, but on the UAE and the region as a whole. With the support of all governmental departments in Dubai, the stage is set for yet another significant chapter of the ASF."
Many delegations from the Arab countries will participate in ASF, with the delegation being led by Ahmed Nazif, and include Minister of Finance - Yousef Boutros Ghali; Minister of State for Administrative Development - Ahmed M. Darwish, Minister of Investment, Governor of Alexandria - Adel Labib; Maged Shawki, Chairman, Cairo and Alexandria Stock Exchange.
Representatives of the Jordanian government will include Ziad Freiz, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Minister of foreign affairs, and Akel Biltaji, Advisor to H.M. King Abdullah II of Jordan.
The Kuwait delegation will comprise Bader Mshari Al Humaidhi, Minister of Finance; Falah Fahad Al Hajri, Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Walid Al Tabtabae, Member of the National Assembly.
Wesley Clark, Former NATO Commander and Sheikha Haya bint Rashid Al Khalifa, President, UN General Assembly, will participate.
More than 30 industry leaders from the global business community will also attend the event, including ASF 2006 Co-chairs Akbar Al Baker, CEO, Qatar Airways, Qatar; Eric Schmidt, Chairman of the Chief Executive Committee and Chief Executive Officer, Google, USA; Faisal bin Salman Al Saud, Chairman of the Board, Saudi Research and Publishing Company (SRPC), Saudi Arabia; Maha K. Al Ghunaim, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Global Investment House, Kuwait, and Mohammed H. Al Mady, Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Saudi Arabia.
"The Arab Strategy Forum has evolved into a significant platform for key players to come together and provide perspectives on the global economy. Outcomes of these discussions will be used as reference points for tackling current regional challenges and taking the Arab world to the next level of growth," added Al Gergawi.
Focusing on four distinct tracks - Governance, the CEO Agenda, Arab Society and Socio-Economic - the ASF is being earmarked as the leading Arab platform for strategic thinking and the main launch pad for regional programmes and initiatives.
