Qatar Navigation sign contract agreement for construction of showroom and villa complex

In attendance were Sh. Hamad Bin Suhaim Bin Hamad Al Thani the Chairman of Qatar Navigation and Mr. Khalifa Saqr Al- Hitmi the Chief Executive of Qatar Navigation and Mr. Ashraf Genidi the representative of the construction company Satal Qatar contracting and the representatives of James Cuibitt and partners the project consultant.

The design of the building is simple and expresses its architectural strength as a modern construction of massive sculpture with curved shape and having a "light house" at its middle as a symbol for the main navigation activities, it will be used as an office for navigation travel and tourism.

The project is near the Doha International Airport on Wakrah road, the construction cost of QRS. 53,9 million will be completed in 15 months.

The plot area for this project is 20,236 SQ. meter and it will include the following:-

Showroom consists of one basement for car park capacity of 106 vehicles, ground floor, mezanein and one floor of total built area 9534 Sq. Mtr.

Villa complex behind the showroom consists of 34 typical villas each of 238 Sq. Mtr. having ground and one floor in addition of health club and swimming pool surrounded by green area and internal roads and parking area.

The show room complex will be used by Navigation commercial activities and as follows:-

Showroom for Chery saloon cars of Chinese origin and pickup and four wheel drive manufactured by ZX auto of China.

Showroom for Hino Motors of Japan and Hino original spare parts ( European branch) and heavy industrial equipment and construction equipment manufactured by DOSAN Daewoo of Korea, and cranes manufactured by Fassi of ITALY, in addition of steel products manufactured by well reputed GCC companies which includes semi trailer tipper and mounted tipper on trucks as well as flat bed trailers and water and fuel tanks.

Showroom for selling marine equipment, fishing and communication equipment, spare parts, and Daiwoo diesel marine engines.

Navigation Travel and Tourism office for offering all services needed by travelers which include ticketing, hotel reservations.
