Jacques Boyadjian, the hotel's general manager, said "Our opening three decades ago marked a milestone for us, as Hilton became the first international hotel brand to open a property in the UAE. The Hilton Al Ain, is a home away from home for many of the emirate's residents, as well as guests from across the UAE and overseas, who continue to return year after year. We wanted to give them something to show our appreciation of their loyalty, which is why we've created an action packed calendar of activities."

To mark the occasion, the hotel which has played host to a string of celebrities over its 30 year history including HRH Queen Elizabeth, the King and Queen of Spain and boxing champion Mohammad Ali, has a month-long celebration planned for guests and residents of Al Ain.

To kick start the celebrations on October 10, the hotel is flying in twelve performers from France to entertain guests with a spectacular show, while dining on cuisine from all corners of the world. Fitness enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the numerous tennis, squash and golf tournaments that are planned throughout the month, with a host of prizes up for grabs including weekend breaks at Hilton hotels across the UAE and dinner vouchers.

The 30th celebrations culminate with an open day on 31st October at the hotel's recreation centre, Hiltonia, where members can invite their friends to experience the pool club facilities.

The Hilton Al Ain is the perfect choice for families keen on experiencing a true desert oasis atmosphere. The hotel is located close to the city centre and tourist sites and boasts extensive recreation facilities including a nine-hole golf course, tennis and squash courts, two swimming pools, as well as a gym equipped with Jacuzzis, steam rooms and saunas. There is a choice of six restaurants offering Persian, Chinese and Italian cuisine.

"The Hilton Al Ain is celebrating this milestone, thanks to its employees and their commitment to guests and customer service over the last three decades. We are very proud of this achievement, especially as Hilton is the first international hotel brand to celebrate its 30th anniversary in the UAE," said Guy Epsom, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, Hilton International, Arabian Peninsula.
