Mirabti stated, 'WTM lived up to its reputation of providing access to the world's top travel professionals. Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa, which has the largest beach on offer in the UAE, attracted the attention of dozens of tour operators and travel agents.'
Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa is set on more than 500 metres of white sandy beach on the eastern coast of the UAE. It will feature 257 rooms and suites, five restaurants, a fully-equipped spa and its own SCUBA diving centre. The hotel is due to open in February 2007 with each room offering un-spoilt sea views.
Mirabti added: 'It is the first time Fujairah as an Emirate appeared independently at the show. The overall response was fantastic with many identifying Fujairah as an attractive holiday choice. We extend our thanks to the Fujairah Tourism Bureau for arranging the stand and look forward to exhibiting at International Tourism Berlin in March next year.'
Mirabti graduated from the International Institute of Tourism in Morocco to begin his 14 year career in the hotel industry. He has worked with multinational companies such as the Sol Melia Hotel in Casablanca and Renaissance Hotel in Dubai. After 8 successful years as Associate Director of Sales for Jebel Ali Hotel Dubai, Hafid joined as a key member of the pre-opening team for Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa.
