All As One, Mercato Mall, Regent International School and DHL join forces for an unforgettable Holiday Season in Sierra Leone

All As One (AAO), a non-profit organization based in Dubai Aid and Humanitarian City, is joining forces with Mercato Mall and their annual Santa Sleigh project.
The Regent International School is an active participant of the 'Children Helping Children' program and will donate 200 shoeboxes filled with personal care items and gifts for the orphans in Sierra Leone. In a ceremony on 10th December, the pupils will drop off their gifts at the Santa Sleigh. DHL, a longtime supporter and corporate alliance partner of All As One will air ship the gifts to Sierra Leone to ensure that the orphans enjoy a holiday season with gifts and good wishes from Dubai.
AAO was founded in 1997 and it aims to provide rehabilitation and education for war-affected, orphaned and destitute children in Sierra Leone. Currently, AAO houses and cares for over 75 children at the moment.
During more than a decade of civil war, 4.7 million citizens of the western African nation of Sierra Leone were displaced. It is estimated that 350,000 children are orphans as a result of this war. Sierra Leone is ranked as the second poorest country in the world according to United Nations statistics and 60% of the population is Muslim.
