These new routes come soon after Jazeera Airways celebrated its first anniversary and announced its intention to expand services and reach across the region.

Marwan Boodai, Chairman and CEO of Jazeera Airways said:
"The expansion of our routes will be instrumental in building Kuwait International Airport into a regional hub leading to increased traffic and business in the Airport and its onsite facilities".
"It's been an exciting year for us here at Jazeera Airways, we flew over 500,000 travelers in our first year, we launched 13 destinations, we extended our aircraft maintenance programme with Lufthansa Technik to cover the years to come, we received four brand new aircraft from Airbus, and H.H. the PM of Kuwait Sheikh Nasser Al-Sabah signed our aircraft on our anniversary. Our freedom movement is only getting stronger," concluded Boodai.
Launched in October 2005, Jazeera Airways operates a fleet of new Airbus A320 aircraft and serves 13 of the most popular destinations for both business and leisure in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent.
