Microsoft grants ActiveMania Gold Partnership award

Based on Microsoft® Media Center, ActiveMania's Connected Home Solution, ActiSuite, runs on Windows® Vista operating system and caters to the residential, retail and real estate sectors. It builds on the ActiSuite Digital Home Framework as an artificial intelligence engine enabling centralized control and inter-middleware scenarios.

While Windows® Vista provides ActiveMania's Digital Home Framework with the building blocks for developing next generation user experiences and networking capabilities, the ActiSuite Connected Home - Media Center Extension - Solution offers users the possibility to combine their local media experiences (Images, DVD & CD Libraries) with a variety of telecommunication services (Voice over IP, Video Conferencing, Instant Messaging, Email, Internet), home automation services (control of home appliances), and interactive services (Video on Demand, Music on Demand, Games, Shopping, etc.) via a broadband connection. ActiSuite Connected Home permits seamless interactivity between multiple electronic equipment in the home (i.e. Video games, TV, CCTV...) and the community.

Through Microsoft's® Vista capabilities, the ActiSuite Connected Home services and interactive content are easily accessible through one TV interface and accessible on many devices, such as Ultra Mobile PCs, Set-Top Boxes, PDAs, Mobile Phones, Portable Media Centers, and other wireless devices.
