The leading companies from the raw materials section will include Saudi Basic Industry Corporation (SABIC), Borouge, Qatar Petrochemicals Company (QAPCO), National Petrochemical Co of Iran, NATPET, Reliance Industries, Clariant, ExxonMobil Chemicals, Tasnee, Astra Polymers, Bayer, Enerplastics among many others. The exhibition has gathered major support from 500 companies from over 34 countries, which includes six new countries who will exhibit at the eighth edition of the fair.
The leading companies will converge to increase their scope of business and consolidate their presence within the region. SABIC, the largest public company in the Middle East, and one of the world's ten largest petrochemicals manufacturers, will unveil new products and innovations at the show. Currently, the company's products are exported to over 100 countries.

Borouge, the leading producer in UAE, will be showcasing its innovative plastics solutions. Borouge has a production facility in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, and is currently working in partnership with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC)

The eighth edition of Arabplast has attracted 14 country groups. Some of the prominent country groups include Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Malaysia, Netherlands, United Kingdom, India, Turkey, Iran, China, Korea, Taiwan, Egypt, & Cyprus. Most country groups will look to generate new business leads as well as reinforce existing relationships. The exhibitor participation at Arabplast 2007 has witnessed an increase of 40% from the previous edition.
The four day event will attract leading companies from the entire gamut of Plastics/ Rubber industry sectors such as raw materials, chemical and auxiliaries, plastic packaging machinery and technology, pre-processing, recycling, master batches, additives, machinery and plant for finishing, decorating and print marking, accessories and parts, finished products and engineering plastics and inner plastics.
