LANDesk Software to focus on the region's emerging Business Process Automation market space
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, December 07 - 2006 at 08:31
- PRESS RELEASE
LANDesk Software, a leading provider of integrated systems, security and business process management solutions, will continue its focus on the Middle East's emerging Business Process Automation.
Addressing a press conference in Dubai, Mr. Joe Wang said: "Organisations are now moving from a tool only mindset to automating and proactively managing processes to deliver greater business value. We see a huge opportunity for Business Process Automation in this region."
LANDesk has been doing business in the region through the Dubai-based Intertec Systems, its only ESP partner in the region. Mr. Joe Wang said: "The Arabian Gulf is among the fastest growing economic regions of the world today. We are certain that with an active partner like Intertec Systems, it would not be difficult for LANDesk to make best use of business opportunities here."
LANDesk recently introduced LANDesk Process Manager 3.0, an advanced business process management (BPM) engine and a change management solution. LANDesk Process Manager is designed to enable organizations to automate repetitive or manual processes as well as efficiently manage small or large-scale changes.
This next-generation process management solution extends LANDesk's leadership position and delivers on the company's strategic vision to enable IT organisations to demonstrate significantly increased business value.
Addressing the media, Mr. Naresh Kothari, President and Managing Director, Intertec Systems, said: "Business Process Automation is a big opportunity for Intertec. The focus of our corporate strategy has been on the Banking and Finance, and Government verticals, which are highly process intensive segments."
Mr. Naresh Kothari added: "This solution will help organisations better manage changes, make improvements to existing processes and, perhaps more importantly, enable automation of processes that have previously required manual oversight."
LANDesk pioneered the desktop management category back in 1993. It has continued to lead the systems configuration space: pioneering virtual IT technology in 1999, revolutionising large-packet distribution with LANDesk Targeted Multicast technology and LANDesk Peer Download technology in 2001, and delivering secure systems management over the Internet and hardware-independent network access control capabilities with LANDesk Management Gateway and LANDesk Trusted Access Technology in 2005.
Earlier this year, LANDesk added process management technologies to its product line and began integrating systems, security and process management applications.
