Diamondlease, an Al Habtoor Group (AHG) company, whose Chairman, Mr Khalaf Al Habtoor, said, "2006 has been another fantastic year for us with a growth of over 40%. The fleet has grown to over 6000 vehicles and we are confident that this will double in the next 4 years. Nearly 80% of these are rented on a long term basis to corporate and individual customers. We feel very proud that the AHG Group has successfully built a local company that can match the fleet size and service quality being provided by the international companies in this business."

Mr Khalaf Al Habtoor added, "It's a great partnership between Diamondlease, Mitsubishi and the people of Dubai. To better serve our customers we have operations that cover the entire UAE and we have been an ISO Quality certified company for over 9 years, a member of Dubai Service Excellence Scheme and been awarded the Best Rent A Car (Local Brand) in the MENA region for three consecutive years. These, combined with 24X7 support service and a touch of Arabian Hospitality are what make us so special in an increasingly homogeneous business environment."
