BA World Cargo makes senior appointments across Middle East, South Asia and Africa

BA World Cargo today announces the appointment of John Cheetham as regional commercial manager, Middle East and South Asia; and Patrick Fehring as regional commercial manager, Africa. Both appointments are effective immediately.

Formerly area commercial manager, France Benelux and Nordics, and with seven years experience at BA World Cargo, Cheetham will be responsible for all commercial activity in the Middle East and South Asia region. With experience in both the European and most recently African cargo markets, Fehring will oversee all commercial activity across Africa. Both replace Ian Barrigan, who previously held the title of area commercial manager Southern, incorporating Africa, the Middle East and South Asia and both will report to Baba Devani.

Baba Devani, vice president sales and international customer service comments: "Africa, South Asia and the Middle East are all highly competitive markets and this new management structure will allow us to focus more heavily on delivering for our customer across both regions. I have no doubt that the experience and leadership qualities that John and Patrick bring to their teams will be key to driving us forward across these markets."
