Previously covering the Gulf and North Africa, Armin has extensive knowledge of markets in the Middle East, and has spent the last two years in Munich building relationships with the relevant marketing and production management teams at FSC head office.
'We have some superb marketing initiatives and one of my key priorities will be to localize these campaigns for the Middle East market,' says Armin Rappl. 'Each country has a different approach and it is very important to have local campaigns that reach out to local communities. This is the strategy that FSC Gulf will be rolling out across the Middle East and North Africa, and will help FSC Gulf implement key strategies and campaigns deployed from head office, and highlights the company's drive to develop and grow in the region.'
Armin plans to work with the local media to increase brand and product awareness as well as developing marketing initiatives in co-operation with FSC's corporate, distribution and consumer partners.
'We are very pleased to have Armin join the FSC office in Dubai,' said Jacquie Carson, Director of Sales and Marketing FSC Gulf. 'The Middle East is one of the most important and exciting markets for us, and I am very confident that the experience that Armin brings will be an enormous asset to marketing our products in the region.'
Armin was first employed in 1998 as commercial manager at Siemens Business Services Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in Munich, and then went on to become commercial manager MENA the following year with Wincor Nixdorf. In May 2002, Armin took on the role as marketing manager for FSC MENA from the Munich office, before transferring to Dubai.
'During the next few months I will be conducting seminars and briefings to share our knowledge, strategy and educate our customers,' adds Armin. 'I look forward to listening to their ideas on how to maximize our marketing coverage with them in their countries.'
