This is the second modern-day designed location for the regional communications group this year after its previous Tabaris 812 premises were vandalized and burnt down last February.

After visiting the Group's entities- mainly advertising agencies Young & Rubicam and Intermarkets, public relations firms Asda'a and Polaris, and media buying arm Mediaedge/MEC - invitees received a before and after photography exhibit of Lebanon's most talked about communication offices once based at Tabaris 812.

Mr. Talal El Makdessi, the bullish CEO of THG who basically started the business 25 years ago in the back of his car, and who got refused once as a young man when applying to one of his own companies at present, stated that among the main objectives for the open house was to take the lead in believing in Lebanon's revival.

"The fire and destruction that took place last February did not kill the passion and confidence of the 96 talented people who work for THG in Lebanon. The undying spirit of the company rose above the ashes, as Lebanon has several times."

The Group, which employs 1,340 communications professionals, is currently pursuing a vigorous expansion program where it will be present in a total of 15 Arab countries with 46 offices. New offices have already opened in Iran, Algeria, Tunisia, Qatar and two more offices, in Sudan and Oman, will be launched by the end of the year.
