Minister of Tourism Mr. Zohair Garannah and President of the Egyptian Tourist Authority Mr. Ahmed El Khadem along with Ambassador of Egypt in China, Suleiman Awwad, and Manager of the Egyptian Tourism Office in China, Dr. Nasser Abd El- Al, presented the award to Deputy Director of Tourism Operations, Moataz Sedky during a Gala dinner under the name of 'The Egyptian Nights', which was held at the Shanghai Eton Hotel.
Furthermore, Travco is placed the number one agent in Shanghai in terms of the number of travelers to Egypt, whereas it is ranked the third in Peking. Throughout the Egyptian Road Show, Travco conducted several workshops, presentations, speeches, and press conferences about Egypt in Shanghai, Peking, and Guangzhou; and hosted 400 travel agencies who sell Egypt as a destination across the Chinese tourism market; in addition to, the official meetings that were held with delegations from the Chinese government, tourism offices, and media.
