SMG announces promotions at Starcom UAE

At the end of a successful year of continued growth and strong performance highlighted by its twelve trophies at the 2006 Campaign Media Planning Awards, Starcom MediaVest Group MENA announced a number of promotions.

Commenting on the promotions, Tarek Daouk, Managing Director, Starcom UAE, said, 'It is our people who provide the fuel that drives impactful, actionable solutions for our clients. Alain Brahamcha has been promoted to the position of Associate Media Director at Starcom. Brahamcha has been a key player in developing the Procter & Gamble (P&G) Agency of Record's (AOR) knowledge and product quality - a big challenge as the team had already set the bar high on the planning and buying fronts. For three years in a row, Brahamcha showed great leadership and led the AOR to deliver excellent results during the key planning season.

Dennis D'Souza has been promoted to the position of Media Manager at Starcom. He has demonstrated great leadership in pushing the boundaries of innovation and experimentation, especially when covering Asian consumers and events, to which he has been admirably recognized by his client P&G. Dennis' positive team dynamics represent a model of interdependence among all his peers.

Rayan Karaky has been promoted to the position of Associate Media Director at Starcom after playing an instrumental role in challenging the level of strategic innovation at the agency, capitalized by his team's recent recognition of six Campaign Media Awards behind the innovative and fully integrated Hummer 'Like Nothing Else' campaign.
