Abu Dhabi office advises on USD1 billion syndicated loan

Denton Wilde Sapte's Abu Dhabi office has advised Union National Bank on a US$1 billion syndicated loan.

The loan was arranged by Arab Banking Corporation (BSC), the Bank of Tokyo - Mitsubishi UFJ, Limited, Citibank NA, London Branch, Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, ING Bank NV and Raiffeisen Zentral Bank Österreich Aktiengesellsch.

"Union National Bank is a longstanding client of the office and we are delighted to have been included in this landmark transaction" says Managing Partner Richard de Belder, who lead the team.

The instruction builds on the Gulf office's work on a range of banking and finance matters in the region.

Richard was assisted by Senior Solicitor, Moyn Uddin.

The mandated lead arrangers were advised by Allen & Overy.
