Trophies were awarded at the Awards Ceremony held at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club to Euro Motors (Bahrain) and Abu Dhabi Motors (UAE) for being the first BMW importers to sign the Premium Selection contract and for having the first Sales Executives certified in Premium Selection.

The BMW Sales Certification programme, designed to ensure all sales executives represent the premium values of the BMW & MINI brands, commenced in January 2006 with a process of six training session modules. Each sales executive is required to pass all six sessions to qualify for the sought-after certification.

"We believe it is vital for us to develop and train local talent in each of our markets in the region, to provide customers with the absolute highest level of service possible," said Guenther Seemann, Managing Director, BMW Group Middle East.

"The BMW Sales Certification programme was put into place in 2003 to become a sustainable, long term training scheme that ensures we have the best people representing our BMW and MINI brands."

The Middle East region was the first market worldwide to implement the BMW Sales Certification programme. Successful graduates are rewarded with a certificate and the title of Certified BMW or MINI Sales Executive.

They come away from the programme equipped with all the knowledge they need to support our customers, and this programme also assists with the unification of product knowledge and representation across the region.

All BMW Group Middle East sales executives are required to complete the sales certification programme. The training process continues throughout their careers, as performance and achievements are continuously monitored to ensure theories learnt in the classroom are applied in the showroom.

"Our customers know they can walk into any showroom in the Middle East and receive the same premium customer service, the same attention to detail and the same ultimate ownership experience synonymous with the BMW and MINI brands," concluded Seemann.
