Mother Baby & Child Show 2006 open 10am to 10pm thru Saturday

The third Mother, Baby & Child (MBC) Show 2006 was inaugurated today by Her Excellency Mariam Al Roumi, Social Affairs Minister, in Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

    The third Mother, Baby & Child (MBC) Show 2006 was inaugurated today by Her Excellency Mariam Al Roumi, Social Affairs Minister, in Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
Shannon Norris, Director of TME, the organisers of MBC 2006, accompanied Her Excellency on a guided tour with a detailed brief about the show's exciting stage programme and the various educational seminars and workshops for families with young children. H.E. also visited a number of exhibitors showcasing the latest products in healthcare, education, fashion, beauty and safety.

Al Roumi, commented, "I would like to extend our support for MBC, because it provides synergy with the social and educational strategy of the Social Affairs Ministry. The Show has gathered a number of high profile international brands which are aimed at mothers and their children, who are our future."

"I particularly like the seminars and workshops dedicated to healthcare, education, safety and nutrition issues. I am also very impressed to see companies from the private sector supporting such a great event. I would like to see more private sector companies extending their valuable support to all issues related to social affairs," she added.
