Showtime Arabia adds the Travel Channel to its leading portfolio

Showtime Arabia announced today that it was adding the Travel Channel to its network effective January 1st 2007.
In addition to adding the Travel Channel to its network, Showtime Arabia will also add Top Gear and Monster Garage. Top Gear and Monster Garage two of the best known motoring programmes in the world will provide viewers with the latest information on what's happening in the motoring world, reviews on the latest car launches, and trends in the car industry. In Monster Garage viewers will see ordinary cars and bikes transformed into extraordinary mega machines before their very eyes.
Azhar Malik VP Marketing for Showtime Arabia said the decision to add this content now is in line with the latest evolution of our strategy designed to bring the very best documentaries and sport as desired by our customers. This decision is best illustrated by our investment in acquiring the 'world's best football competition the Premier League' but we will continue to develop our portfolio with more relevant programmes for all the family. Over 140 new shows are planned for the near future and will go towards enhancing the overall package with all the family in mind".
