H.E Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Chairman of Sharjah Commerce and Development Authority, (SCTDA) joined H.E Mohammed A. Al Noman, Director General of SCTDA, at Khaled Lagoon, Sharjah - the site of the official U.IM. F1 World Championship Sharjah Grand Prix.
He said, "It gives us great pleasure in hosting a prestige event like the F1 U.I.M. World Championship in Sharjah. This is a great opportunity for us to make our mark in the international sporting community. I wish everyone the best in the racing championship tomorrow. We are all looking forward to declare the World Powerboat Champion of 2006."
During his visit, His Excellency mingled with the World Champions such as Guido Cappellini, F1 Promoter, Nicolo de San Germano and the UAE team. He expressed great enthusiasm for the event and applauded everyone for their contribution in making this a world-class occasion.
The main race is schedule to take place Friday December 15th at 3:45pm at Khaled Lagoon, Sharjah.
