Members of King Abdul Aziz and His Companions Foundation for the Gifted visits Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders

Dr. Khalid Al Sebaity, Secretary General of the King Abdul Aziz and his Companions Foundation for the Gifted recently visited the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders (SME) to study its objectives, activities and achievements.
King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for the Gifted is a national cultural foundation that provides financial and moral support to encourage the development of talented youth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Abdulbaset Al Janahi, CEO of SME escorted Dr Al Sebaity and his team on a detailed tour of the Establishment, introducing them to SME members, products and services.
Praising SME's efforts in simulating entrepreneurial activity and accelerating innovation in the UAE, Dr Al Sebaity said: "It is interesting to note the growing status of small and medium sized enterprises as key contributors to the UAE's economic development. The number of business ideas that have emerged out of incubation, and gained phenomenal success with SME's backing is very impressive.
"Our visit to the SME is part of our strategy to understand the workings of similar initiatives in the region that share a vision of providing for a better future by promoting the talent of the young."
Al Janahi said: "Dr Al Sebaity and his delegation showed keen interest in our programmes and funding initiatives. The networking visit allowed us to exchange and explore new opportunities to empower the youth in our respective countries, allowing them to contribute more fully to the development of our societies."
Since its inception in 2002, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders has offered support services worth Dh 155 million to over 430 local start-up companies. Services provided by SME include finance, consultancy, and business advisory as well as facilitating accessibility to government procurement programmes.
